AND THE OSCAR GOES TO...

Yesterday the Academy Awards' ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre of Los Angeles, best well-known as "the Oscars".

A show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, in which two films accumulated most of the awards: "Gravity" and "12 years a slave" (which I recommended you both -see links-).

And while in Hollywood some of the parties may still being celebrated, I write a little essay abouy the awards of the night, regardless of the fact that I will be telling you more things about it.

A night where Jennifer Lawrence fell down again (this time in the red carpet), pizza was served and Ellen DeGeneres made history when her 'selfie' became the more retweeted one (-1,098,000 times by the time- with a pic in which different stars were captured). There were also emotive moments, such as the "In Memoriam" part, which brought to our minds great actors as Philip Seymour Hoffman or James Gandolfini.

The losers of the night: "American Hustle" by David O. Russell, who did not obtain any award despite having been nominated for 10 categories, and "The Wolf of Wall Street", by Martin Scorsese, who neither achieve any of it (Leonardo DiCaprio didn't even won, and although I think -as many experts- he deserves the recognition he came back home with his long-awaited statuette).

Tomorrow I will tell you more about the show and the winners. Thank you for reading me!
